Saturday, August 5 12:00 pm (CDT), I will be competing in the Johnsonville Brat Championship in Sheboygan, WI. The contest will be intense as bratwursts are a very challenging food. The contest will air on a little delay on ESPN Saturday at 1:00 pm (PST).

Erik, congrats on placing tenth. Have to say that you are my favorite competitive eater, and am rooting for you to win your first big event. One question, I was wondering how you pay for your travel when you enter all these contests? This last even (Brats) you only made $250 which I am sure the plane ride alone cost more than that. Do you have a regular job besides competitive eating or do you have sponsors? Good luck in New Mexico!
What's up Jake? Thanks for supporting me. I way underachieved in Milwaukee, I promise to erase that performance from memory. As far as travel goes, it's all on my own dime right now, I have a full time job at Boeing while I am not eating.
